Working with specialist glass art fabricators, there is a possibility to design for large scale projects. Float glass, which can be toughened, laminated and double glazed for safety, is embellished with techniques including silk-screening with permanent ceramics enamels, sandblasting, and acid etching. Mouth-blown ‘antique’ glass can also be bonded to the float to give a greater depth of colour and character.
